The concert features festival co-founder Robert Fleitz and his brother Dennis Fleitz, an accomplished cellist studying at the Peabody Institute, in a special concert of cello and piano duets! This is their first time performing together live, so don't miss out!

The townspeople must work together to save the parade and prove the value of music! This interactive theatre event invites children into the story to help solve a problem and experiment with all the ways we can make music!

The art installation’s opening and reception will take place immediately after Robert Fleitz’s recital.

We are so excited to be collaborating with Composer-in-Residence Brian Dozier Brown and new media artist Eli Goldstone present an installation based on the stories of Lakeland’s most famous feature — its lakes! Audiences are invited to submit and share their stores, and then come check out the installation throughout the duration of the festival.

Interactive Children's Event - 10:15 AM

We’re so excited to be partnering with local bookstore Pressed LKLD for this exciting event for the youngest members of our community! Created by theatre educator Claire Fleitz and local musician Derik Thomas, children and their caretakers will explore the wonderful world of music through sight, sound, and movement in this interactive play experience. Each session begins with a short story time of the story, The Bear and the Piano by David Litchfield.

This family experience is geared towards children 2-6 years old. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!
